krazi made his way onto the path of the green fields, cubone walking by his side. neither the trainer nor the pokemon were in any hurry to get across the field, they were enjoying the view. they took quick breaks, here and there, and watched other pokemon that happened to come into sight.

A purple Pokemon chittered to itself. The form was now sighted, a Rattata. He used a quick attack on the small Cubone.

(for rp purposes, does tail whip deal damage? or is my cubone bound to lose every battle until it learns an attack move?)
krazi and cubone had been distracted and didn't notice the rattata approach. cubone was nocked down by the quick attack and krazi was startled. "hey you little rat! that was a cheap shot!"
"bone!" cubone was up and ready to fight. "alright! use tail whip!" cubone ran at the rattata and spiined as he approached it, trying to hit the rat with his small tail.

(( Unfortunately Tail Whip doesn't :/ Therefore, I think it would only be fair to allow your Cubone to learn Double Kick so that it doesn't seem so helpless... ))
The rat pokemon snickered at other, flashing his fangs at the pokemon's direction. He too flicked his tail at the Cubone's face, attempting to annoy the cubone as much as he could.

(yay, cubone can figt now. lol)
"alright cubone! let's get'em. use double kick" krazi yelled out as the rattata used it's own tail whip. "Cu-" cubone jumped back and then lunged forward stretching out his right leg. "-bone!!"

The Ratata was knocked over. Being a normal-type, fighting moves were especially effective on them. The Ratata winced as he got up, terribly weakened by the attack. Baring his fangs at the Cubone, the Ratata rushed for a tackle attack.

cubone took a hard hit and was knocked back. "come on cubone! we're almost done. one more hit should do." krazi said this while noticing the rattata was already weakened. cubone got up slowly and shook off the hit. "Bone!"
"alright, let's finish this! double kick!!" cubone rushed at the small rat, attempting to hit it with a kick once again.

The Ratata was knocked back from the blow and went rolling across the grass.
Cubone gained 2 levels! Cubone is now lvl 7!
Cubone has learned Bone Club!

"awesome, we won! good job cubone." krazi looked back at the fallen pokemon. "go pokeball!"
holding the ball of his new pokemon and looking at the tired cubone, krazi thought for a while then said "well, i guess we should make our way to a pokemon center" he then recalled cubone to its pokeball. "i think you need a break as well"
the next town was still a way off, so krazi picked up speed while walking down the path.
