"Shock back at it with equal power," he told Lightning. The Pichu let out a surge of lightning that repelled the lightning and kept the Spinda's lightning going at the same time, but was getting tired out.

The Spinda used Fake Out, while the Pichu was trying to fight him back, hoping that it would knock him off guard.

By the time Spinda used Fake Out, Lightning had already focused deeply into the thundershock. He continued trying to push back the Spinda.

The Snubble grunted with pain it felt the painful hit from the Skitty hit upon his stomach. It felt like retching, but instead, gave way. The Snubble fainted.

Jake looked up as he heard a screech, alerting him of the presence of a Pelipper. "Hey!" Jake called, ready to fight. Jake then saw a package in the Pokemon's large beak. A brown cardboard box fell out of the Pelipper's orange beak. The Pelipper soared off, with another screech.The last sight was the white flapping wings. The boy's sight was the blue tipped wings, leaving. Jake flipped the box over. "Jake Wolf" It was definetly addressed to him. He looked at a note with beautiful cursive writing "Happy birthday, son! Please do not open this until your birthday, May 28th. Jake grinned. Bullet nuzzled his hand, as if asking what it was. "My mom. She sent me a present!" He exclaimed to the Growlithe and the Zigzagoon. "I can't wait to open it." Jake slipped the box into his backpack, which he placed beside him.

The Spinda was, by now, out of the way of the Electricity pushing together. He took this chance and tackled the foe straight on.

Lightning let go of the thundershock knowing that there was no resistance there but suddenly went flying and hit the ground rolling. Lightning slowly got up, and then used another Thundershock on Spinda.

The Spinda yowled in pain, but still stood strong. The Spinda rushed forward, in a head first tackle. Followed by another tackle.

Jake's smile faded and his eyes opened wide. "It's my birthday!!!" He shouted with joy.
The Spinda looked at the boy with confusion. The Spinda's eyes started to water and it started to see stars. The Spinda tried to use tackle, but hit itself. He fell onto his butt.
Jake ignored the actions of the Pokemon and tore open the box with his bare hands. Jake grinned. A Pokeball. Jake looked around. He took a few steps away from the battle. He didn't want to interfere. As Jake's finger slid onto the gray button in the center of the Pokeball, red energy flooded around him. Jake dropped the Pokeball from his hands "No..." He wasn't upset. Just very surprised. "It-it can't be a LUXRAY!" Jake squealed with delight, not even trying to hide his girlish nature.
